Biography

Born in Forest Hills, NY (a suburb of New York City, in 1960), Hank spent his youth playing sports and enjoying the riches of New York City life. Although he started fishing at an early age on ponds and lakes in the suburbs of NYC his life took unexpected turn when his father died unexpectedly when Hank was 11 years old. After his father's death fishing didn't seem important to the youngster. Being the oldest of five children Hank had to spend more time at home assisting his mother with chores.

In 1979 he graduated from Thomas A. Edison Vocational and Technical Studies. After graduation Hank spent time living abroad while working in the Facilities Services industry. In 1987 he returned to the United States and continued to work in the same industry. 1995 seemed to be a turning point in Hank's life when he moved from NYC to the lovely Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. While working in NYC and commuting home daily to Pennsylvania he had the opportunity to meet his wife Anne 'Rocky' Rolle. Hank and 'Rocky' had two children (Eric and Jill) before her untimely death in 2001.

It was 'Rocky' who encouraged Hank to pursue fishing again. He joined Monroe County Bass Anglers in 1999 as a rider. In late 1999 he purchased his first bass boat. In late 2001 he purchased his second and present bass boat. In addition to fishing with Monroe County Bass Anglers in Pennsylvania he also fishes with Orange County Bassmasters in New York. Hank has also developed the 'Northeast Bass Fishing Tournament Spreadsheet' that lists over 1400 tournaments in the northeast. The spreadsheet has proven time and again to be a valuable reference tool for anglers and organizations alike.

When not on the water Hank divides his time operating Hank's Property Services, which is a full service lawn maintenance business, based out of Stroudsburg, PA and spending quality time with his children. He is also a distributor of various fishing related products.

Currently, Hank has been a consistent performer and will fish tournaments in PA, NJ, NY and CT with both Monroe County Bass Anglers and Orange County Bassmasters. He resides in Bushkill, Pa with both of his children.
